Are you following Jesus, or looking at the other disciple? In John 21:22, Jesus commanded Peter to follow Him, after Peter asked Jesus, "What about him?" (referring to the other disciple). Jesus told him not to worry about John. You and I don't need to worry about what other people are doing and saying, but to keep our eyes on Jesus and to stay in our lane, following and obeying Him. We need to let go of our loved ones who may not be saved yet or who are backslidden, and let God, entrusting them to His merciful, gracious care. The same God who reached out to you and me and saved and delivered us can do the same for your and my loved ones. You follow Jesus.
