Clinic Notes found at https://teachhoops.lpages.co/clinic-notes/ Our first coach today is John Sherian, Girls Coach at T. Wingate Andrews High School, in High Point, North Carolina. Upon taking over Andrews in the 2010-2011 season, he inherited a 3-12 team. In his second season as head coach he achieved a 22-7 record. Shearin has taken Andrews to the state playoffs each year he has been the head coach. In 2014, he led Andrews to the 2014 North Carolina High School Athletic Association 2A Girls State Championship. From 2014-2016 his teams appeared in three consecutive NCHSAA Final Four regionals. During his impressive run at one point he amassed 50 consecutive conference wins and has also had six undefeated conference seasons and six conference titles. Coach Shearin also runs a very competitive preseason jamboree. This fall will be the ninth annual Quick Preseason Jamboree and he will be glad to give you some information on that if needed.
