551. Chris Carter's Harsh Realm

Informações:

Synopsis

Harsh RealmFollowing the success of The X-Files and Millennium, Chris Carter's dominance as one of the 1990's premiere showrunners was assured. Throwing him a $30 million production deal to make multiple series, Carter went off and made Harsh Realm, the first series in this new deal, designed to be the 'next big thing' after The X-Files ends at the end of Season 7. History tells us, however, things didn't quite end up that way...In this slight break from Season 7 coverage, guest host Tony Black is joined by recurring guest Darren Mooney to discuss the fascinating failure that was FOX's Harsh Realm, pulled from schedules after three episodes, cancelled after just nine. They pick through the production history, show development casting, episode themes and concepts, and with some fan questions and comments discuss where the show might have gone if the series had remained on air.Host / EditorTony BlackGuestDarren MooneyExecutive ProducerTony BlackSupport The X-Cast on Patreon:www.patreon.com/thexcastSupport the W
