It's a Winans Wednesday Edition of the Locked On FLORIDA Panthers Podcast, as Jacobs Winans(@JacobWinans8) joins Armando Velez(@Mandoman12) to discuss Tuesday's 3-2 overtime victory over San Jose. Panthers were a bit undisciplined in the first two period giving up 5 power play chances to the Sharks. A short handed goal by Jonathan Huberdeau limited the special teams damage for the Panthers, but it was the 3rd period that turned things around for the Cats. Florida outshot San Jose 16-3 in the 3rd, and though former Panther James Reimer challenge Florida both times, the Panthers were too overwhelming with the amount of possession and shots late in games. That helped Frank Vatrano get 2 goals in this one to help lead the Panthers to victory.
