Synopsis
On this Winans Wednesday Edition of the Locked On FLORIDA Panthers Podcast, as Armando Velez(@Mandoman12) is joined by Jacob Winans(@Jacobwinans8) to discuss the Panthers' 5-2 win over Washington. The Panthers played 3 different type of periods in this game where they were dominant 5-on-5 early, got into a bit of penalty trouble as it resulted in Washington cutting the deficit to 1 multiple times. Despite the Panthers not trailing once Tuesday night, the Cats did not do many favors for Sergei Bobrovsky, facing 14 shots while on the Penalty Kill, and the Panthers having trouble exiting their zone to start the 3rd. After the Capitals came out firing in the third, Nick Cousins gave the Panthers the lead 3-1 as he scored his 2nd goal in the last 3 games, and Carter Verhaeghe gets his 10th goal of the season on his 4th multi-goal game of the season. This game was ultimately won by Sergei Bobrovsky as he went 40/42 after getting a week's rest with Spencer Knight getting the last 3 starts.Twitter: @LO_FLAPanthersEma
