On Today's Edition of the Locked On FLORIDA Panthers Podcast, Armando Velez(@Mandoman12) is here to discuss the Panthers' 4-2 win over the New Jersey Devils, where the Sergei Bobrovsky and the Panthers Defensed matched speed-for-speed against the high flying Devils. Panthers had a response to every odd man rush that the Devils had early, and basically eliminated them the rest of the way. The scored first, which mostly has led to wins this season for the Panthers, the Ekblad-Forsling pairing played one of their best games of the season, and Reinhart got 2 goals(including one on the PP, their first in the last 5 games). The Cats did lose their Captain Aleksander Barkov towards the end of the first period and were down to 11 Forwards once again, something we've seen all season. We discuss whether the play by Nico Hischer was intentional and discuss how long we should expect Barkov to be out after not returning after the 1st period.
