It's a Winans Wednesday Edition of the Locked On FLORIDA Panthers Podcast, as Armando Velez(@Mandoman12) brings in Jacob Winans(@JacobWinans8) to chat about the Florida Panthers' 5-4 win over the Defending Stanley Cup Champion Colorado Avalanche. Panthers came out exploding to a 3-0 lead after Colorado was dominating the first 9 minutes of the game. Cats scored goals of all kind where they were constantly getting to the net. Panthers were all gas no brakes in period number 2 using a 17-4 SOG advantage in period number 2 where there's a bit of encouragement of how you want to play a period when having a multi-goal lead. Panthers then faced a scare in period number 3 where they went nearly 10 minutes without a SOG and that's what helped Colorado tie the game at 4 in the third period. Luckily, the heroics of Matthew Tkchauk comes with 3:30 left in the game on the Power play to help the Panther survive a bit of a scare as they escape Ball Arena with 2 points.
