On today's edition of the Locked On FLORIDA Panthers Podcast, Armando Velez(@Mandoman12) brings in Florida Panthers Historian Francisco Oporta (@fjojr and @FLACatsHistory) to break down Florida's 9-2 victory for the Tampa Bay Lightning to clinch the season series with one game to go. Florida gave up the first goal on the first shot 24 seconds into the game, but flipped the script after the 7-minute mark of the first, where the Panthers would score four times, none in the low slot as they took away the eyes of Andrei Vasilevskiy, and created goals off turnovers. The Panthers would pour it on after where they converted two power play goals at the beginning of the second period, one of them after the Lightning challenged for goaltender interference and was unsuccessful. Florida was able to contain Tampa's line of Steven Stamkos, Nikita Kucherov and Brayden Point to a combined -11 on the night. Sam Bennett and Matthew Tkachuk would get four points each on the night (two goals and two assists), and Carter Verhaegh
