On today's edition of the Locked On FLORIDA Panthers Podcast, Armando Velez(@Mandoman12) brings in Nich Fairbanks(@prudentia0) for another edition of Fairbanks Friday. The two discuss Florida coming out on the losing end despite tilting the ice after Matthew Tkachuk and Gustav Forsling left the game in the first period due to injury. Florida had a big chance on a 4-minute power play when Jordan Staal was sent to the box for high sticking Nick Cousins, but could not connect on the man advantage. Panthers were asked to do a lot with having an odd number of players on both forward and defense, with a multitude of guys double shifting. It was a goalie battle between Sergei Bobrovsky and Pyotr Kochetkov on Thursday night as Kochetkov came out on the winning end with 44 saves. The guys discuss when they thought this game was lost, their three stars, and provide an injury update to both Tkachuk and Forsling.
