The St. Louis Cardinals lost a close one, 5-4, to the Kansas City Royals last night. The 8th and 9th innings were full of moments to break down, including a play at the plate and a 1-out triple that didn't score. Kansas City's bullpen was able to hold the Cardinals at bay, while the offense scrapped just enough for the win. Lucas is still concerned about offensive consistency and he thinks this was a big game to lose, considering the Cubs also lost.
