Even though Max Scherzer faced the Cardinals for the third time this spring, St. Louis was able to escape with a 4-2 victory. However, Scherzer was still dominant, striking out 7 in 4 innings. It was after he left that Dylan Carlson, Nolan Gorman and Nolan Arenado all drove in runs to give the Cardinals a win.
