The St. Louis Cardinals were able to avoid a sweep at the hands of the New York Mets thanks to a 10-5 win yesterday. While there was a benches-clearing incident, yesterday's game was largely a positive one for St. Louis. Playoff teams don't get swept at home, and the Cardinals showed the resilience to find a way.
