Locked On St. Louis Cardinals

The St. Louis Cardinals dropped two of three over the weekend in Boston, and the main takeaway is that this bullpen needs help. Giovanny Gallegos and Ryan Helsley were not used, so the rest of the 'pen got a chance to step up and they did not. Both Friday and Sunday saw 9th-inning comebacks squandered due to late runs given up by the bullpen in the 7th or 8th innings.This week's series against the Brewers is as important as a series can get in mid June. Both teams are 38-30, so the Cardinals will be looking to take advantage of four games against their division rival.
