Synopsis

In the midst of having to have his Labrador Retriever, Nacho (pictured on the show page), in an Elizabethan collar for an an extended period of time, Dr. Roger shares his empathy with pet owners whose pets and households that have to endure the cone. There is a reason refusal to leave the collar on as directed is one of the top - and one of the most frustrating for veterinarians - owner compliance failures that lead to bad consequences. It is because they are not fun! Sometimes, E-collars are the only method to keep pets from licking or chewing at wounds, incisions or bandages.
