#WokeUpLikeThis is a popular hashtag today for people taking selfies who looks so beautiful and blooming when they woke up, when in fact, it's the opposite of how they really look without a camera. The speaker of this message connected this popular hashtag #wokeuplikethis to our real identity in Christ. When we were made alive, risen in a new life with Christ, we suddenly woke up with a package of good things in store for us to CHOOSE to do (Ephesians 2:10). Even if we are on still on earth, in Christ, we woke up to a new citizenship--a citizen of heaven--we woke up to a new mission in life, we woke up a new Spirit. And that is why we can choose to do good things, purposeful things, because we woke up like this...like Jesus.
