What it means and what you should do when your girlfriend asks for a break unexpectedly. In this video coaching newsletter I discuss an email from a viewer whose girlfriend just asked for a break after 5 months of dating. He thought he had it in the bag and she was head over heels in love with him. Then he asked her to fly across the country with him to meet his parents. The next day she told him not only was she not ready to meet his parents, but that she wanted a break for about 2 weeks. It’s clear he totally overestimated her attraction level and is now paying for it. He also is focused on seeking her attention and validation instead of creating the conditions where she would seek his.
