Craig Cotton: Consortium wants to bring Formula E to Auckland

Informações:

Synopsis

The consortium behind a bid to bring Formula E to Auckland believe it's a no brainer for Central and local government to back them.E Prix races are currently staged in cities like New York, Paris, Rome, Hong Kong, Berlin, Mexico City and Santiago. The proposal would see fully electric cars compete on a street race around the Auckland waterfront next November or December.Bid CEO Craig Cotton says it would bring in at least $150 million to the economy and they need a fraction of that to make it happen."We ened about $14 million from central and local government to get this across the line annually. We've got the rest covered in terms of corporate engagement. It's about a 10-1 investment. The GST take alone covers that."LISTEN TO CRAIG COTTON TALK WITH D'ARCY AND GORAN ABOVESee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
