In part two of his message, Pastor George Sawyer helps the church see that the giving of thanks is at times the missing ingredient for answered prayer, bringing faith and hope in our lives, and being in God's will. 1 Thessalonians 5:18, scripture tells us that we should give God thanks in every circumstance for this is His will for us. If you're not sure what God's will is, give thanks. You KNOW that giving thanks is His will for you! An example of God's people doing this is in Psalm 126. God brought the people out of captivity with the help of an ungodly deliverer whom He has raised for the purpose of restoring the children of Israel. The scripture says that they sowed in tears and reaped with joy. So, what are you sowing? Pastor Sawyer leads the people in sowing praise and thanksgiving.
