Calvary Assembly

Pastor Josh Wilbanks uses blind Bartimaeus as an example of how we go from where we are to our purpose and destiny. His name means "son of Timaeus," but instead of being known by who his father was, he was labeled "blind Bartimaeus." He used his limitation to drop his expectation of himself. He became a beggar. But when he heard that Jesus was passing by, Bartimaeus cried out to the Savior and took off his beggar's cloak to follow Jesus.
