When top London cop Nicholas Angel is transferred to a quaint countryside village and is saddled with inept partner, he begins to suspect that the town may be hiding a dark secret. Featuring Jim Broadbent, Timothy Dalton, Paddy Considine, Olivia Colman, and a whole village’s worth of stalwart British stars, the film was an instant hit and proved to be the highest-grossing “flavour” of the three.
