It’s no secret that heroin and opiate addiction is a serious problem in St. Louis and around the country. This episode features David Haasis, manager of outpatient behavior health at Hyland Center at St. Anthony’s Hospital, and Lara Pennington, CEO of Queen of Peace Center, an agency of Catholic Charities of St. Louis, on the work they do to combat the disease of addiction in our community.
