Welcome back, I hope this finds you well. Today's show is a short practice of breath work. The 4-7-8 breath has shown to be very successful in reducing anxiety and stress. Andrew Weil MD. teaches this breath often as an anti anxiety tool. When preparing for the breath, be seated in a comfortable chair or sit with your back against a wall. This breath is not recommended lying down. Practice this breath 2x a day and no more than 4 cycles each. Continue for 4-6 weeks. You may want to record your progress each day and see how you feel.
