The latest evidence released by the CDC provides graphic evidence about the vaccine effectiveness of the mRNA vaccines. The data on a total of 55,552 persons gathered during the Omicron-predominant period was gathered from 10 sites across the country. The analysis determined the ability of two or three doses of the nRNA vaccines to prevent hospitalizations for CoVid Omicron at various intervals after completion of the 2 dose vaccination regimen and the 3 dose vaccination + booster regimen. This graphic data representation shows that the 2 dose vaccination, at best, only prevents 71% of hospitalizations, and that protection declines to only 54% by 5 months after the second shot. If, at that point, an individual receives a booster, the protective vaccine effectiveness jumps up 37% to 91%. Though the protection continues to decline during the months following the 3rd
