Synopsis
Vidcast: https://youtu.be/dsIL_UgENMc The CPSC and SunVilla have recalled SunVilla Solar LED Market Umbrellas. The lithium-ion batteries in these umbella’s solar panels may overheat leading to burns and fires. About 400,00 of these umbrellas were sold in the US and about 33,000 were sold in Canada at Costco and online at Costco.com. If you have one of these umbrellas, remove the solar panel puck containing a lithium-ion battery from the top of the umbrella, store the puck out of the sun and away from combustible material, and do not charge the puck with the AC adapter. Return the umbrella and solar puck to any Costco store for a full refund. For more information, call SunVilla at 1-866-600-3133 or via email at LEDRecall@sunvilla.com. https://www.cpsc.gov/Recalls/2022/SunVilla™-Corporation-Recalls-Solar-LED-Market-Umbrellas-Due-to-Fire-and-Burn-Hazards-Sold-Exclusively-at-Costco-Recall-Alert #costco #sunvilla #solarledumbrella #lithiumionlbattery #overheating #fire #burns
