I've been enjoying my meditation practices for over 25 years and one of the things I love about meditation is how it is all about "returning" to yourself and being in THIS moment. I am a self-professed, LLL, life long learner and LLS, life long sharer. In 2015 as I was researching where to learn more about mindfulness I came across Kay Stewart of Stillwaters Mindfulness Training and I signed up for a Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program that was being hosted at a local church counseling center where she was facilitating. Kay's energy and spirit were just right and I really felt I made a great connection and learned so much from her and the program. As an alumni of the program we are invited annually to attend a day of silence retreat on the church campus. It has been a few years since we all convened, due to COVID 19.
