  • 19. Cultivating Eroticism with Morgan Hopson

    11/07/2019 Duration: 43min

I had a fun conversation with Morgan Hopson about cultivating sexiness and eroticism. Morgan is a Taurus and the Taurus archetype is about intimacy with the self and with the environment… so it’s really cool to hear a Taurus Sun talk about having an erotic relationship to the fabric of reality and the whole environment, like the way clothes feel on our skin, or the smells we take in around us, or the things that catch our eye in a room and excite us — and not just erotics with a particular person, though these erotic relationships with other people are extensions of the erotic energy that we cultivate within ourselves. We talked about the importance of value of cultivating the erotic and you’ll find some activating, grounding advice in this episode about how to increase intimacy with yourself and by extension your relationship to the rest of the world around you.Morgan’s coaching websiteFeed Your Desire: Sexuality, Food, Body Image and Creativity event - Facebook and EventbriteFollow Morgan on instagram @ashe

    04/07/2019 Duration: 50min

Sitara Hewitt is a meditator and meditation coach, an actress, and a mother, and she really makes a disciplined practice of happiness and high vibrational living. This comes down not only to a mindset, but a practice of continually making expansive choices and utilizing tools we may have at our disposal to heal and elevate rather than dwell or feel victimized. We talked about ways to elevate our vibration as a daily practice, and we also talked about magnetism.Follow Sitara on instagram for frequent posts about mindfulness: @sitara_hewittMusic by Danny Lampton of The Light & The Weight See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

  • 17. The Nature of Eclipses with Rosie Finn

    26/06/2019 Duration: 01h03min

It is eclipse season you guys! We have eclipses coming up July 2 and 16, so I wanted to do an episode about eclipses to offer some perspective for this moment in time. we may know that eclipses are special New and Full Moons, but what sets them apart? You’ll find information about eclipses in general in this episode as well as some themes for the July 2019 eclipses coming up at the time of this episode’s publication. If you’re catching this episode sometime in the future, perhaps this can be a retrospective guide on what went down your July of 2019! Either way, a lot of the content of this episode is not time-specific to these particular eclipses - rather eclipses in general - so if you’re tuning in down the road there will still be something here for you.I interviewed Rosie Finn in this episode, an astrologer in Olympia, WA who has been a really important person on my path and has been for so many others. She has been practicing astrology full time since 1999, and I first encountered her when I lived in

I honestly feel transformed by this conversation, and I imagine that any astrologers or astrology enthusiasts out there will also take something away from this episode t

  • 9. The Beauty of a Darker Soul with Josh Mantz

    01/05/2019 Duration: 01h16min

I had a conversation with one of my grad school cohorts Josh Mantz about his book The Beauty of a Darker Soul: Overcoming Trauma Through the Power of Human Connection. Josh is a former army major who was shot and killed by a sniper and flatlined for fifteen minutes, and was brought back to life. Four months later he was back on deployment, and a year and half later he was on a national public speaking circuit and was able to leverage his story as part of a military initiative to empower others to access mental/behavioral health treatment. The years following his death/rebirth, or his "second life", presented Josh with emotional challenges that led him to write this book dealing with themes of shame and trauma. And, we talked about Josh's astrology. See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

  • 8. Lifestyle Entrepreneurship and Gratitude Practices with Bokhara Lashi

    24/04/2019 Duration: 52min

I wanted to ask her about the term “lifestyle entrepreneur” that I learned from her, the concept of designing your business or your work in the world to compliment a lifestyle you’d like to have. We also ended up talking about how powerful having a gratitude practice can be, and how to practice gratitude while still sitting with hardship - so no spiritual bypassing here! ;) Bokhara's perspectives about life are thorough, balanced, and refined, and whenever I talk to her I get the impression that there is no difficulty in life that I couldn’t address meaningfully. We talked a little bit about how the people we spend time with influence us — and I’m sure you’ll feel the influence from this grounded, intelligent soul.Find Bokhara at:https://www.embodyzen.com@embodyzen on InstagramBokhara's blog: https://www.embodyzen.com/blogMoss Art Studio: ht
