    This interview with actor Anthony Edwards (E.R., Top Gun, Fast times at Ridgemont High) is about the film "The Tricky Part," for which he served as Executive Producer.  The film is based on the highly acclaimed memoir and play of the same name, exploring the topic of sexual assault of men.  Edwards,  who himself was sexually abused when he was a young teenager, is board chairman for the non-profit 1 in 6, which has arranged for the free streaming of the film tonight (Tuesday) at 7 pm CDT on Youtube, Facebook, or on the 1 in 6 website.  (1 in 6 refers to the fact that studies who that at least 1 in 6 men have been the subject of sexual abuse or assault.)

Bush over Al Gore - and what was likely to be ahead in the then-new Bush presidency.   We hope to share other archival interviews with Professor Buenker in the coming weeks and months.

    Steve Allen, one of the legendary figures in entertainment history,  was the original host of The Tonight Show (the first late-night talk show)  and a prolific composer and author as well as a popular game show host and participant.   He came to Carthage College during the first week of March 1999 as a Johnson Distinguished Visitor.  This is one of the only instances in which I co-hosted a Morning Show interview with long-time WGTD news director Bill Guy, who created the program and was its primary host before his death a few months after this interview aired.
