04/05/2019 Duration: 01h51minRon Mills retired from education in 1993 in the land of Blue Bell Ice Cream, Brenham, TX. Coach Mills enjoyed a career that started in Groom, went on to Panhandle, over to Canyon, and then down to the gulf coast where he became the Head Football Coach of the Bay City Blackcats. Coach Mills led the the Blackcats to the 1979 State Championship game and lost. However, in 1983 the Blackcats came roaring back to finally achieve the grand prize, a class 4A State Title.
