We’re guestless again this week, and we’re talking about one of the most bizarre films we’ve ever seen – TRAXX! Plus, we talk about some Truth and Soul – yes, we listened to some Fishbone! It’s our last episode of 1988 – so, see you next year, and see you in 1989! 

Once again the heroes of Time Bandits travel back to 1988 to celebrate the 25th anniversary of ridiculous albums and movies. This week we get our primates all polished up for George A. Romero‘s confusing thriller Monkey Shines. Then we try to figure out why Morrissey is so sad as we delve into his solo effort Viva Hate. Will we viva love it or viva hate it? Our guest this week is Robert LaRonde from one of Canada’s funniest film podcasts, Rewatchability.

This week on Time Bandits, we travel back in time yet again to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of a movie and an album. We’re looking at one of the most hilariously inept slasher films of all time: Hollowgate! Then, we take a listen to King Diamond‘s metal concept-album Them. Joining us this week, is Mark Pesci – Mark books some of the best shows going on in Toronto, and he also created the gig listing website Just Shows!

 Yes, Time Bandits is back and warming up this cold month of November with some heat! Red Heat that is! The Walter Hill buddy-cop flick starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and James Belush! Then, we get heavy with Metallica‘s album …And Justice for All – which Dan has never heard! Will he love it? Do Greg and Casey love it? Find out! Joining us this week is Anthony East – who you may remember from such things as helping run and book shows for Two Way Monologues, as well as the Thursday Thursday shows presented by Greenshades. 

It’s that time of the year: Halloween! So obviously, we couldn’t resist watching 1988’s entry in the seminal horror series of the same name, Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers! Yes, a busty Michael Myers who can’t decide on what colour to dye his hair is on the loose again! And then we popped Helloween‘s album Keeper Of The Seven Keys: Part II and got headbangin’.

 This week, we’re taking a look at one of the manliest flicks ever created – Mercenary Fighters starring Peter Fonda and Reb Brown‘s guttural scream! Plus, we listened to the utter misfire that is Neil Young – here backed by the Bluenotes – playing horn tinged soul on This Note’s For You. Joining us to talk about these fine specimens is Matt Bahen, of The Schomberg Fair – one of the Toronto independent music scene’s greatest bands.  We’re back, and we’re guestless again! Yes, just the three hosts of Time Bandits have aimed their rifles at the 1988 piece of junk Deadly Prey. You might know this as one of the most infamous action films of all time, as it has made the rounds online in many bad movie circles. Yes, it’s that hilarious, and we really let loose on this film. It’s a must-see. Plus, we talked about My Bloody Valentine‘s album Isn’t Anything, which is awesome too for all the right reasons. If you haven’t heard it, you better check it out!
