Another way to get your name out there as a writer is to guest post on blogs! Be willing to offer something of value to fellow authors whether it’s information, tips, or services. “Use it sparingly.” That’s what I’ve been told and what try to remind myself as a writer. Similes, metaphors, body language, facial expressions, etc., use these sparingly. What does this even mean? Is there a limit of what you can use per page per page? As you revise, ask your trusted writer friends what’s working and what’s not.
