In an effort to bring awareness to homeless veterans in Texas, a team from Baylor University in Waco sought to provide a tremendous service to warriors in need of a blessing and ended up breaking a world record in the process!

Sometimes, we take for granted just how powerful prayer is!Four men wearing masks and carrying guns entered a church in Ferguson, Missouri during a Sunday morning service, and the pastor of the church, Marquaello Futrell, also a former member of law enforcement, noticed something was off about the four men immediately. He quickly spotted their weapons, remained calm but still took decisive action. Pastor Futrell, not wanting to cause alarm, told his staff to lock the church's doors and call officers. Then the pastor stops the gunmen by approaching the four of them during the service, asking them why they attended that morning's service.Next, the pastor asked all four of the men if it was OK to pray for them. All four of them agreed and then members of the congregation can be seen gathered around them, praying for the four young men.

If you're a dog person like I am, then you know sometimes our dogs may know something is wrong even when we don't. Like Tucker. Ron and Cindy Ecklund were enjoying a Saturday afternoon in their backyard when their dog, a chocolate Labrador mix named Tucker, began barking. I don't know about you, but when all seems good, it's easy to say I'm trust Jesus with it all. But what about when everything isn't so good? Will I trust my circumstances? or the God who Lords over my circumstances?

I was coming into work yesterday when I saw something really bizarre in the parking garage. A man flew by me headed in the wrong direction and it didn't look like he cared to change his course. He was met with some shocked looks, a few horn beeps to try and catch his attention. No luck.But then there was this one guy who took a different approach: He turned off the engine, got out of his car and went up to one headed the wrong way to see if he could help. The man behind the wheel was pretty upset but after a couple minutes, he agreed to enter in the right way.Honestly, it made me think of me. How many time have I been upset and headed in the wrong direction when God lovingly shows me the way to go.

Inspired by the movie "Jesus Revolution", thousands of people came from all across America and the world this month to take part in a "Jesus Revolution Baptism" at the now-famous Pirates Cove in Newport Beach, California.Harvest Christian Fellowship Sr. Pastor Greg Laurie held the massive baptism event following last week's SoCal Harvest Crusade, where 32,500 people gathered and 6,794 made decisions to dedicate their lives to Jesus Christ and a record 4,500 people were baptized.Praise God!

Karina Courtmanche has a dying wish, to be reunited with her horse Bella, who lives on a small farm in Bethany, Connecticut.The 79-year-old has owned 30-year-old Bella since the horse was a foal.Karina is in hospice care with not much time left, her caretakers said. So they arranged to have an ambulance take Karina to Bittersweet Farms to see her beloved Bella one last time...

Jenny Pearson of Dallas was driving on I-20 while taking her daughter to summer camp when a near tragedy struck. A tire crashed through her car window sending glass all over her.Jenny was obviously shaken up. Caleb Smalling and his wife Maria saw Jenny crying on the side of the road and pulled over to help. Oh, they "just happened" to own a glass repair shop and replaced Jenny's window for free! Talk about RIGHT people at the RIGHT place at the RIGHT time!
