Student Chapel.  The biggest thing that hinders people from moving forward is their inability to let go of their past. In Genesis 19, Lot and his family had trouble leaving the plains, and heading to the mountain where God called them.  If God has called you, “get up. Go. Leave your past behind. You may not like it- but it’s God’s hand of mercy reaching out for you.”

Chapel. Rev. Foster admonished the student body to put the enemy back where he belongs- under our feet.  “You go out after that enemy. Let God give you the strength to turn the battle from where you are in your city, to chase the enemy back to his gate. It’s time for the church to stop having the seized mentality- that we’ve been taken by the enemy. The church is triumphant!” -Rev. Tom Foster

Chapel. God is our refuge in time of trouble. Dr. Bernard reminded us that we don’t worship simply because we feel like it; we worship because no matter what is going on around us, God is in control. Nahum 1:7 states that, “He knows those who trust in Him.” That is why we can never eliminate the need for faith.
