Our regrets can help inform our future decisions. If you have been listening to us for a while you know we have made some questionable choices from time to time. Are there things you regret? 

In order to take advantage of opportunities, you need to be able to recognize them. For some people, the opportunity might mean a new job or a promotion. For others, it might mean finally meeting the love of their life. And for others still, it might mean taking a chance on something completely new and unknown.

BioBri’ana Oluwadamilola Oniru-Edwards known as Dami Oniru is a professional Nigerian recording R&B/Soul artist, songwriter, and producer born in Atlanta, Georgia, and raised in between Lagos Nigeria, and Atlanta Georgia. She is best known for her domestic breakout hit “Iyawo” and her sophomore single “Fallin”, after taking a two-year hiatus she released her debut project “Bri’s Lounge” in 2019. The name "Dami Oniru" was derived from a studio session where she randomly sang her name, and envisioned people singing it back and that lightbulb moment stuck. Her sound incorporates elements of R&B, Soul, African instruments/sounds, with a sprinkle of Trap. Dami Oniru returns to the sound sphere with her long-awaited single  “Soft Life”. After a two-year hiatus, the track encapsulates the rising star’s Nigerian and American roots, while seamlessly incorporating her smooth R’n’B sound. Trigger warning ahead, this might become a sticky one. The closure is something that all of us deal, with or don’t deal with. It affects a lot of our relationships, and there is a multitude of directions that this can go. We are going to unpack it all today.

Self-esteem is a weird one, but it is so important to have it under control. There are some things we have grappled with on this journey and we managed to pinpoint some of the behavior which we found to be damaging to our self-esteem.

Creating your reality is easier than you think. It is tough to overcome the situations that life throws at us, but we have to try don’t we. We are blessed to be living the life that we have manifested, and we want the same for you too

We always think that time is on our side but the reality is we don't know what tomorrow holds. Instead of waiting and looking back with regrets do it scared and at least each time that you make a mistake self improve until you have mastered it.  

In relationships, it’s normal to experience moments where we grow together and moments where we grow apart. Growing apart can signal to us that changes need to be made or that the relationship no longer aligns with us.

It is so important to be intentional about how we protect our time and energy whenever we can. All of the things we’ll address are normal human behaviors, but if compounded over time, they can be quite draining.

Braveheart is honestly a certified classic, if you haven’t watched it it, you need to reevaluate some things in your life. However, the definition of bravery looks very different in this day and age. Let’s unpack it 

Ah, the pursuit of self-actualization is so important and something we have strongly advocated for. As we have grown and matured we are starting to find fulfillment in different things. What does that look like? We don’t know yet but this is a step in the right direction 

Mane, the rat race is a real thing and sometimes it just seems like we don’t have control over our own lives, we are just bouncing from thing to thing like we are in a pinball machine, and we need to ask are you the ball or the machine?

As two individuals that are rather familiar with rock bottom, the art of a bounce-back is one that we have had to learn. Stumbling isn’t falling, and we want to share a couple of gems with you.

There is no time like the present and sometimes we just have to work with what we have. How do you make today effective and harness your energy to catapult yourself forward with the next 24 hours you have.
