18/06/2019 Duration: 01h03minAfter spending Part 1 discussing the Anthony Davis trade from all angles, I dove into the NBA Draft headfirst with Brandon Anderson. Brandon has spent hours and hours watching film, compiling statistics, and writing about the 2019 draft class, so I thought I would have him on to discuss as many of the prospects as we can get to. From Zion Williamson's stardom, to R.J. Barrett's concerning traits, to a number of prospects the Nuggets should consider acquiring, we spent close to an hour discussing Thursday's potential festivities. I like Brandon Clarke, Grant Williams, and Chuma Okeke most for Denver. If you have a draft question, ask Brandon on Twitter: @wheatonbrando. Enjoy! Learn more about your ad choices. 21/05/2019 Duration: 01h20minThe 2018-19 season had to come to an end at some point, and it did so in bitter fashion in Game 7 at home against the Portland Trail Blazers last week. The Denver Nuggets have very few questions to answer in the offseason about their viability as a playoff contender, but in order to get better, Denver needs a few things to go their way. In this episode, Ryan Blackburn and Gordon Gross discuss the first domino to fall: Tim Connelly will stay with the Nuggets as President of Basketball Operations. Nuggets Numbers 14 - Digging into the 3-2 series lead over the Spurs
24/04/2019 Duration: 24minWell, the Denver Nuggets are on the brink of not being frauds. After taking a 3-2 series lead over the San Antonio Spurs, the Nuggets have one game left to win before they can advance to the second round of the playoffs for the first time since the 2008-09 season a decade prior. That team with Carmelo Anthony and Chauncey Billups went on to lose to the eventual NBA champion Los Angeles Lakers and is one of the biggest "what if" teams in Nuggets history. This version of the Nuggets is clearly different, and also much younger. In their first playoff experiences, I detail just how much Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray, and Gary Harris have grown up. There were some initial scares with Derrick White and Bryn Forbes, but the Nuggets have recovered nicely, officially on the brink of something special. I looked back at the last five games statistically and briefly look forward to Game 6. Apologies for the short podcast as I'm a bit sick. Enjoy! Learn more about your ad choices.
