Yet when Heather didn't return home for Christmas, and neither she nor her boyfriend answered the phone when her family rung, police were sent to their home late that evening to check on them.When police entered, Heather was dead on the lounge. She had been shot. Ryan was conscious but he refused to explain what had happened. Ryan Waller was arrested on the spot. There was no gunshot residue nor blood spatter that could corroborate her story.
