Professional MMA fighter Aaron Uncaged Highbaugh stopped by the podcast to shoot the shit with us, tell us about his amazing MMA career and where his plans and goals will be taking him real soon, we also talked about the importance for an MMA fighter of having a good support system/wife, and taking the MMA journey day by day and not putting too much pressure on yourself. On the lighter side we had a lot of laughs hanging out with Aaron and we talked about not sharting yourself in the cage, why care bears are awesome and why the hell they even came up, getting his ass kicked by Chris Lytle during training, and how a guy at WW can hand out ass whoop'ins to HW’s. We had a lot of fun talking to Aaron and we thoroughly enjoyed having him on as a guest!

Happy New Year mother fuckers!! We hope all you enjoyed your holiday season and had a great new year! We can now say goodbye to an amazing year in MMA and the UFC for 2017 and push forward for what will likely be another amazing year in 2018. Now onto this episode where we recap UFC 219 Cyborg vs Holm and shit got fuckin real on this card! We talked a lot about Khabib Nurmagomedov and his ridiculously easy looking win over Edson Barbosa, the status of the 155 pound division, where the UFC may go from here, and of course we talk about McGregor’s part in all of this. Cyborg outclasses, out smashes, and out points Holm to retain the women’s featherweight belt in an amazing fight to end 2017. We also talk about BJ Penns possible next fight and what he plans on doing with his fighting career, if anything. The UFC’s somewhat odd co-sponsorship with Netflix on the new move Bright and where that may lead. A possible massive streaming partnership in 2019….hmmmm…I wonder!

On this episode I am joined by my cohost Scott, and as always we ramble on about this amazing world of MMA, news, events, and we get off on a few bullshit tangents along the way. We recap UFC Fight Night Winnipeg Lawler vs RDA which was an awesome card, there was a lot of great fights, awesome finishes, sweet KO’s, and a couple of surprise performances. Its always exciting to get new blood and energy into any division and RDA has definitely put every welterweight on notice. We talk a little bit about Bellator and how their current matchmaking environment could use some help as well as knocking off the damn catch weight fights! We made our UFC 219 Cyborg vs Holm predictions and hopefully we can do better than we did this last weekend and not go 0 for 5.
