Dai and Ruth were fortunate enough to get Dave Edwards to join them for a lockdown chat! The trio talked through Dave's career both for club and country. Dave talks us through life under John Toshack, Gary Speed and the Euros under Chris Coleman. He talks about his goals, his little known injury problem before the Northern Ireland game in Paris and experiencing some games as a fan from the touchline. Finally he talks about life away from football - The Offside Trust and The Little Rascals Foundation. He is a great guy to talk to, and a fascinating guy to listen to. Reminding ourselves of a great summer and some great times was a real joy. We hope you enjoy it too. Thanks again to Dave for his time.

After a few weeks break (mainly as I forgot to post this recording....) Dai and Ruth are back, and are talking through their favourite wide or attacking midfielders. This is purely indulgent at this point, shown most clearly with the inclusion of trumpet playing Peruvian Nolberto Solano. Either way, this is a lot of fun and contains a lot of chat about some of the best midfielders to have ever played the game.

We started looking for best "midfielder" and that gave life to "wide midfielder", and that is coming soon too. We may even do best number 10 as well. This time, it's time to travel to Cyprus to witness Gareth Bale do very little for 90 minutes apart score a stunning header, and then head to the CCS to watch Simon Church think he's taken us to the Euros. Welcome back to another Coleman Had A Dream podcast! Following the FAW re-running all the qualifiers in the build up to Euro 2016, we are watching and discussing the games. Up today, are two of the most important games, certainly in the modern history, of Welsh football. After a great start to the group where Wales had won two and drawn two, we came up against an Israel team who had won their opening three qualifying games. They had beaten Andorra, Cyprus and most impressively, top seeds Bosnia and Herzegovina. Wales were to go clear top of the group after this game following a stunning 3-0 win. An apparently out of form (if you were to read the pre match media chatter) Gareth Bale scored a brace, whilst Aaron Ramsey scored a gorgeous header on the stroke of half time. With three points in our pockets Wales headed home, and later in the year (June) came up against a very talented and exciting Belgium side. A nice trip down memory lane, at what turned out to be two crucial fixtures. Following that, a slight outburst of reality as the current climate both inside and outside of the footballing bubble is aired. Should the football season continue, or should it be sacked off? Why clubs should support each other and what the football world can do to support those lower down the pyramid. It's a more serious end to a light hearted chat.
