Racism is the hating of your own kind, for we’re all created in God’s image. Jesus’s compassion will move us toward people not like us, but while comparison and envy lead us, we’ll never go where we’re supposed to. We must be stunned by his love, listen, and ask questions.

Jesus loves you, and he knows you. His love for you has nothing to do with your performance or status and everything to do with him. God loves us all so much—every man, woman, boy, and girl—that he gave his only son.

The forgiveness Jesus offers us is a gift that cannot be earned, that forever changes our lives. It provides a peace and joy that transcends life’s circumstances, that we can share with others!

Circumstances oftentimes impact our happiness, but we can have a joy that transcends circumstances with Jesus!

When our hopes are delayed, we naturally feel heartsick. Hope is what we believe for. Faith is who we believe. We can endure anything when we know who our faith is in—Jesus!

We grow weary as we strive and focus on our own actions first. But Jesus has already done everything. He wants a relationship with us, and we can rest in him!

Some seasons we feel like we can’t make progress, and though we do everything we can, we’re simply standing. Standing is not a posture of weakness. God is working for us, even when we are standing still.

As we’re prevented from pursuing our dreams in this pandemic, it’s easy and human to feel frustrated. Jesus wants to replace our frustration with astonishment. What he’s done on the cross for us can resolve the frustration of humanity!

It can be hard to catch our breath in life. Jesus invites us to another way. He’ll show us how to take a real rest!

The human condition tells us we need to do more to get more. But Jesus already did everything! We need only to rest in him.

It’s easy to feel like we’re falling behind in hard times, but godliness with contentment helps us gain ground. When we’re aware and in awe of God, we’re free to be ourselves with him!

Jesus has something to say. The news is good, and it’s for everyone.

The Last Supper is famous, but is it relevant today? When we turn a meal into Communion, we are proclaiming the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus. Wherever, and whenever, we do this, we remember him!

The resurrection of Jesus changed everything! Rather than clinging to what was, we’re called to embrace what is. Death is defeated, and we have an everlasting hope in Jesus!

Life comes in waves, and sometimes in overwhelming tidal waves and storms. We may feel like we’re sinking, but we won’t be sunk. God is going to work all things together for good.

Is God’s first question to Adam still relevant today? Sometimes asking ourselves the right questions helps us discover exactly what we need.

We oftentimes want to give explanations and fix the problem. But Jesus wept. Our eternal God grieves in a temporal moment. Rather than explaining, let’s be present in the pain, caring and loving.

Fear is real, but we can find a greater emotion. With Jesus, we can have lasting joy!

When we’re afraid, we try to help God. But Jesus is enough. He’s enough for our salvation, our satisfaction, and our security.

When we’re afraid, it’s easy to question the sincerity of our faith. But there’s good news! The Bible encourages us to believe that our faith is sincere, and to go use our God-given abilities to serve others!
