When someone says to give to God, that feels like an impossible ask. In the Bible, we see how God outlined a plan to enrich your life by following his steps to honor him with your finances. Giving to God means giving your first and best to him.

The more you try to control things, the more complicated everything becomes. God doesn’t want you carrying the stress and anxiety of a complicated life. He wants to help you, he wants to take care of you. He wants you to trust and rest in him.

The moment we start helping God plot, plan, or grind to get someplace in life is the moment we over-extend ourselves through striving. The best thing we can do is lean on God—that he has this all worked out, and all he wants us to do is trust.

We need money for so much, and it’s easy to let it control our lives. But God has a plan and value for generosity in your life that allows you to experience freedom from the negative effects money can have on your life and relationships.

When it comes to giving and receiving, we usually only think of ourselves. But Jesus told us that since we’ve freely received, we should freely give. Here are three questions you can ask yourself to better serve and love people in your world.

You may see Christmas lights and only perceive nice decorations. But the lights on display represent much more than that — a true Light for the world who wants to be with you and light up the darkness so you can be your true self.

Do you trust what God wants for your life? Do you believe he has something good for you? We may send him our wish list with all our wants and needs, but he wants us to trust that he has far better planned for us.

Oftentimes, you end up knowing what you really want because you’ve settled for what you thought you wanted, leaving you feeling empty and hollow. But when you can trust God and learn new ways to be thankful he will help you break that trend.

Are you looking for some connection or understanding with God? It’s easy to doubt yourself or constantly wonder if you’re on the right path. Jesus wants to encourage and affirm you in your journey as you focus on the Fruit of the Spirit.

Off the top of your head, you can probably think of at least one or two people who are difficult to love. So, what are we to do with the request to ‘love one another’ that Jesus gives us?

On his final night, Jesus’ disciples couldn’t grasp why Jesus would leave them. But Jesus knew what God had planned, and he promised his followers that a gift would come to them that was more valuable than if he’d stayed with them.

It sometimes may seem like God is distant. Or, do you feel like something you’ve done or said has pushed him away? He’s a Father who will always seek you, a Spirit who will always stay with you, and a brother who will always stand in for you.

There's something significant about last words and moments. Jesus knew his death was coming and he spent his final night with his closest followers, sharing his most important wisdom and then, to their surprise, serving them by washing their feet.
