Frankly, I'm of the mindset that if you have faced adversity that you're actually better off than people who haven't faced adversity because you're hungry and willing to put in the work to get yours. This throwback is a really, really big one that I'm super pumped to resurface today - I gave a fireside Q&A back in 2016 for LinkedIn, and had them ask me a ton of live questions - talking about the way I perceive myself, the reasons why some people feel pressured into entrepreneurship, or building a business when they should be focused more on being that number 17 guy at Facebook. I also go off on how and when I decide to go all in on a new platform that I think is going to blow up. This is a FIRE talk that I'd hate for you to miss

I hope this helps you learn how to grow a small business. Scaling your company and hiring your first employees can be a little tricky, but if you pay yourself as little as possibly and make hiring your top priority, it will pay itself off, you just have to understand that none of the good stuff will come fast.. you're not going to make a million dollars and chill on a yacht six months into starting your company. Have the mindset that it's going to take you the next 21 years. That's how you'll win.

this is a super important clip - it's a phone call that Hasan Minhaj & I took while he was on the #askgaryvee show. We talk to a young man who's fighting the battle between what his immigrant parents what him to do, and what he actually wants to do, and the constant struggle to find balance- Hasan & I both have different, but similar input on this... Very very important. 

This is a super important keynote that I did recently in Singapore, really breaking down the importance of becoming a practitioner in the craft that you're trying to succeed in -  so many people put down Facebook Ads, but have never once run an ad & seen results. I also dive into the importance of thinking of yourself & your own goals, rather than just doing something to make your parents proud or happy. Really really really loved this sit down I had with Jessica Alba, in front of VaynerMedia NYC last year - I think this is a really really important talk for everyone who's waning on their dreams to listen to ... one of the most fascinating parts of this talk is when Jessica talks about how she almost didn't end up acting, but did end up going back to school. Super super good one, I hope u all enjoy

This series of keynotes I did in Asia this past month were all complete fire - this one in Kuala Lumpur really focused around a few key themes: the difference in entrepreneurship between when I was growing up & today's dynamic, really driving home WHY and HOW putting out content and distributing it works & why entitlement is a massive detriment, when the life you're living isn't actually predicated on what you're contributing. This was a really good one, hope u all love !!

This 20 minute rant of advice really pushes out what I'm thinking of when I talk to interns in the ad industry - I think this clip from 2013 really shows how my thinking has and hasn't changed in what interns need to be focusing on & I hope it gives all of you a little bit of help both during and after your intenrship. 

Really loved giving this keynote, #GetMeGaryVee, in Rochester, Minnesota.. Got to cover a handful of things, but the thing that I have to really put emphasis on is that if you're running a business in 2018 and you're not paying close attention to everything that is going on with the internet and blockchain, you could be in deep trouble. Please, please don't let so many of these amazing opportunities fly right by you.
