About 8 km outside the city of Assisi lies a place where St. Francis used to retreat in a tiny cave. Erected on that spot is now a monastery, surrounded by nature and silence.  The following was an audio recording of the nature and silence around this monastery (recorded 6/22/10)    

The following homily was given during mass celebrated at the tomb of St. Francis in the Basilica of St. Francis in Assisi, Italy on June 22, 2010 during my pilgrimage.

The following tolling of 6AM Angelus Bells was recorded only a block away from the roof top of a monastery on June 22, 2010 on my pilgrimage to Assisi. 

In today's gospel Jesus asks us to store up treasure in heaven. 

Do we truly appreciate the ability for us to call God, Our Father? 

The following is a recording of the Farewell mass held on June 13, Sunday for Fr. Paul as he will be assigned to a new parish, Immaculate Conception Parish in Denham Springs. 

This was the homily from my farewell mass at Our Lady of Mercy as I will assume the new assignment as the associate pastor at the Immaculate Conception Parish in Denham Springs.
