Jodie and Soda conspired with David's boss to surprise him with a catch up with his hero former Australian Cricketer Glenn McGrath. David's wife Kerry, at just 32 she was diagnosed with an extremely aggressive form of breast cancer. With the support of her amazing husband David, her loving sensitive boy Lachlan who was only 3 and her beautiful cheeky girl Caitlin just 10 months at the time, she has endured over 12 months of chemo, radiation, intravenous therapy and hormonal therapy. She also had a double mastectomy and reconstructive surgery resulting in 6 surgeries in 3 years. Unfortunately in November 2014, 3 years after diagnosis, she was told the devastating news, that her cancer had spread and is now incurable. It was meant to be a discussion on the new dress code for cricket members at Adelaide Oval, but Soda decided to surprise Jodie with a recorded conversation with South Australian Premier Jay Weatherill who isn't impressed by Jodie's personal dress code.

Jodie & Soda chat with Ian Steel CEO for Kickstart for Kids which supports over 300 South Australian Schools, providing around 40,000 breakfasts and 10,000 lunches per week. 1000's of children were being sent to school each day without consuming any food, or having any food during the day. Ian started a breakfast program in 2009 and noticed immediate results. Kids became happy, friendly, were able to concentrate and had a much greater ability to learn.

Adelaide Oval Curator Damian Hough confirms with Jodie & Soda that the ground is set for the opening day of the Test South Africa vs. Australia. Hough also provides some tips for wannabe home curators on how to maintain the lawn at home.

Hocking who has spent the past seven years with AFL club Port Adelaide has started this week in a full-time capacity with the Panthers. Gotch has secured a position at AFL club Collingwood, where he previously worked from 2000 to 2007.

Jodie & Soda catch up with rugby player-turned-writer Peter Fitzsimons who weighed 152kg four years ago and now he's dropped nearly a third of his bodyweight simply by stopping eating sugar. Fitzsimons' new book is titled The Great Aussie Bloke Slim-Down, aimed at translating the "complicated gibberish" of the health world to everyday men — who tend to be more overweight than women and less likely to do anything about it.

Jess Trengove South Australia's Most Popular Sports star joins Jodie & Soda following the SA Sports Star of the Year awards last night. Jess is a dual Olympian and 2014 Commonwealth Games bronze medallist is a physiotherapist by trade and has recently launched underwear for athletes called "Rundies". Trengove qualified for Rio when the first female home in the Melbourne Marathon, running a personal best of 2:27.45.

Unfortunately in November 2014, 3 years after diagnosis, Mother of two Kerry Briggs was told the devastating news, that her cancer had spread and is now incurable. She sadly now is in Palliative care and will not return home. Even with this devastating news, Kerry is still smiling, powering ahead and trying as best she can to remain strong for her family. Kerry has become the ambassador for the Flinders Center for innovation in Cancer. This is to help raise awareness in cancer and to push the cause. It is highly unlikely Kerry will see her children finish school or even possibly make it to when they start high school, so they have plenty of memories to try and make in a potentially short space of time. Please help this family make some memories to last Kerry's children a lifetime. Rumors by TV Tonight on The Wrong Girl storyline has indicated this week that breakfast TV host Eric played by Craig McLachlan splits with his wife in the latest episode with reports it a direct parallel to Today show host, Karl Stefanovic, but co-writer and star Ian Meadows says it's just untrue and a weird coincidence. Meadows joins Jodie & Soda ahead of The Wrong Girl Season Finale and says the show was filmed in August before the announcement of Karl Stefanovic's spilt with wife Cassandra Thorburn. The Wrong Girl Season Finale on TEN 8:30pm.

Media personality Andrew Denton joins Jodie & Soda as South Australian parliament will vote on a bill to give terminally ill people medical help to die. It's the state's 14th attempt to pass such laws. Denton is passionate about the cause after his father encountered writhing and buckling in pain as he slipped towards death 20 years ago. After his father Kit had died in agony, Denton launched Go Gently Australia, an advocacy group designed to spark a national debate about why good people have to die bad deaths in Australia.
