On today's edition of the Locked On FLORIDA Panthers Podcast, Armando Velez(@Mandoman12) brings in Francisco Oporta(@fjojr and @FlaCatsHistory) to chat about Florida's big 6-2 victory over the Boston Bruins. Florida is the only team this season to go into Boston and score 6 goals. Sam Bennett made his return to the lineup, first game since 3/20/23. Bennett led the way with 8 SOG"s(nobody else had more than 4). The Panthers changed up their game plan and their lines in Game 2, by getting to the net more often in Game 2, and Maurice was quick to make adjustment's in the middle of the first period. Panthers never trailed in this one, but it was a pattern of scoring a goal after killing a penalty, then go on the penalty kill early on. The Panthers were not truly comfortable until they blew the doors open in the 3rd period where they exploded for 4 goals(2 of them by Brandon Montour with screens in front of Ullmark).
